Research Project — Parametric System Studies 2025
Architectural Sediments investigates how ï architectural massing can emerge through the logic of stratification and flow — not as a composition of static volumes, but as a continuous system of tectonic layers responding to environmental and structural forces.
By merging generative AI with parametric modeling, this research explores the threshold between architecture and landscape — where the built form behaves as an extension of terrain rather than an object placed upon it. Each stratum performs both structurally and spatially, defining circulation, daylight behavior, and material transitions within the same morphogenetic system.
The result is a spatial typology that behaves like sedimented architecture — layered, adaptive, and self-organizing — proposing a new continuity between the urban and the geological.
