Located at the edge of Hilltown, the project transforms an underused outdoor area into a new social destination. The 2,500 m² intervention brings together events, food, play and everyday gathering, extending the life of the shopping centre into the open air.

DESIGN CONCEPT Rather than placing isolated objects across the site, the project introduces a continuous red spine that reorganizes the existing landscape. The wall, retail units, communal bar, carousel and event canopy are connected along this line, turning a fragmented residual space into a coh

A WALL THAT CONNECTS

The red wall is more than a boundary. It frames entrances, folds into retail counters and seating, guides movement and gives the entire intervention a clear, continuous identity.

The Common is not a single-purpose venue, but an open framework for public life. It shifts from daytime play and everyday gathering to food, markets and evening performances—changing with each use while remaining recognizably one place.
